How to reach Bantayan Island
From Mactan-Cebu International Airport or Cebu City take the taxi to the North Bus Terminal. By paying bus fare of 160 Philippine pesos (about Rp43.600) Hagnaya you will be taken to the port in the city of San Remigio within three hours of the trip. Furthermore, with a spend of 170 Philippine pesos (about Rp46.300) to board the ferry or RORO, you will arrive at the Santa Fe Port in Bantayan Island within an hour's drive.
Places To Stay
Most tourists stay along the coast of Santa Fe. City Beach Resort is famous for having the best sights of the seaside, but Anika Island Resort generally touted as better accommodation. I personally prefer the beautiful beaches than a nice room. How much was the budget that you provide are not a problem, because there are a number of accommodations to choose from along the beach and around town.
Strolling
In Santa Fe, you can enjoy a tricycle and pedicab only with spending of 10 Philippine pesos (approximately Rp2.700). Most tourists prefer a bike that can be rented all day long in a large number of resorts or motorcycle from several places.
Tips for a trip to Bantayan Island
1. In order to experience your vacation more memorable Bantayan Island, you are encouraged to come in the summer.
2. Better up the early morning flight from Manila to Cebu, with three in the morning flight and travel by land and sea nonstop you will arrive in Bantayan Island 9:00 am to 10:00 am and you can enjoy the beauty of the island during a full day.
3. In case your flight is delayed or interference, do not immediately moping, you do not know who or what is already waiting in front. It happened the first time I vacation in Bantayan Pulu and I am very grateful for the incident.
